Summer pt deux

We spent almost the whole summer in Vermont this year, and it was glorious.

But we came back for: New roof! Much needed for our little 1917 house

Here is what thousands of $$ look like:

Ma - looking wonderful at Joe's 5th

Joe: "On this, my fifth birthday, I give to you a whole new world; CARS!"

The new old door! Stripped and ready for more paint and lots more work and drama before...

God, please let this be done already, Jeeze! The door is up after a year (and 2 yrs of that nasty ghetto door and trying to get it just right).

And then we were back to Momu: The chatelaine of Twelve Oaks

These dogs (Daisy and Turtle) were a big hit all summer - they belong to an antiques dealer in town and were always a great reason to get in the car and go somewhere - anywhere!
Bath time in VT - next year it's all about being under the downspout when it rains.
